Xiaomi is one of the most popular tech giants in the world. With its devices, the brand became a popular company. While Xiaomi introduced the Mi Pad 5 and Pad 5 Pro back in 2021, the brand announced a larger Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro last year. Now, there are leaks and rumors about the new model of the Pad series, Xiaomi Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro. Tipster Digital Chat Station revealed the specs of Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro. Here are the details…
Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC
According to Digital Chat Station in China, Xiaomi will unveil two versions of the tablet series, including Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro. As we predict, the Pro model will be more powerful and more expensive compared to the standard variant. It is claimed that Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro will feature the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC chipset while the Pad 6 comes with Snapdragon 870 SoC.
In addition to the chipset, Xiaomi may launch tablets with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage options. Besides, the devices could feature a 67W fast charging, but the details about the battery capacity and the camera specifications are not clear yet.
On the display side, the Chinese company will use an 11-inch (2880×1800) screen with 120 or 144Hz refresh rate, and support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+ for both Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro. Whereas these are the only rumors about the display, the devices may feature an AMOLED screen instead of an LCD screen, which the older models do.
According to Digital Chat Station, the upcoming Pad series will not offer a 5G version. The Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro are expected to launch sometime in Q2, 2023. It means that we can see the new Pad series before June.
